Dua for Baby Boy

While Islam encourages supplication (dua) and seeking Allah’s blessings, it’s important to note that there is no specific guaranteed dua mentioned in Islamic teachings for having a baby of a particular gender. The gender of a child is ultimately determined by Allah’s will, and it is beyond human control.

However, if someone desires to have a child and wishes to seek Allah’s blessings, they can make general supplications for a healthy and righteous child. Here is a dua that is commonly recited by individuals seeking Allah’s blessings for offspring:

رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ

“Rabbi laa tatharnee fardan wa anta khayrul waaritheen.”

Translation: “My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no offspring], while you are the best of inheritors.”

This supplication was made by Prophet Zakariya (peace be upon him) when he prayed for a righteous heir (Quran 21:89).

It’s important to approach such supplications with sincerity, patience, and trust in Allah’s wisdom. Additionally, consulting with medical professionals for any fertility concerns can be part of a comprehensive approach to family planning.

Married couples who consistently have daughters may recite the following dua after each prayer for the blessing of a baby boy. Insha Allah, they will be granted a baby boy soon.

{رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ } [آل عمران: 38]

Translation In Hindi Urdu: Ai allah mujhe nek aur saleh aulad ata farma, beshak tu dua ko qabool karne wala hai.

Hindi/Urdu Translation:

“ऐ अल्लाह, मुझे नेक और सालेह आलाद अता करमा, बेशक तू दुआ को कबूल करने वाला है।”

“ای اللہ، مجھے نیک اور صالح اولاد عطا فرما، بیشک تو دعا کو قبول کرنے والا ہے۔”

The benefits of Dua

Dear friends! This is a very important supplication; it is the prayer of Allah’s prophet Hazrat Zakaria (A.S). He had reached old age without having any children, and he was very desirous of having offspring. Despite growing old, he longed for the blessing of having children.

This story narrates an intriguing incident between Hazrat Zakaria (A.S) and Hazrat Maryam (A.S). One day, Hazrat Zakaria (A.S) observed that Hazrat Maryam (A.S) had fruits and produce available without being in the season. Amazed by this unusual sight, Hazrat Zakaria (A.S) inquired from Hazrat Maryam (A.S), “Maryam, where do these fruits come from when it’s not their season nowadays?” Hazrat Maryam (A.S) replied, “This is all from Allah. Whatever my heart desires, I ask Allah for, and He grants it to me. Allah’s fruits do not depend on seasons; He has power over everything and can bestow upon anyone as He wills.”

The procedure of this Wazifa

The concept of a “guaranteed wazifa” for a specific outcome, such as having a baby boy, is not grounded in Islamic teachings. Islam encourages supplication (dua) and seeking Allah’s guidance, but the results are ultimately determined by the divine wisdom of Allah. It’s important to approach supplications with humility, recognizing that Allah’s plans are always in the best interest of His creation.

If someone desires to have a child or is seeking Allah’s blessings, they can engage in the following general steps based on Islamic teachings:

  1. Perform Regular Prayers (Salah): Maintain regular prayers and seek Allah’s guidance in every aspect of life.
  2. Make Dua for a Pious Offspring: Instead of focusing on the gender, pray for a pious and righteous child. Prophet Zakariya (peace be upon him) prayed for a son who would be a righteous heir (Quran 21:89).
  3. Seek Forgiveness: Engage in repentance and seek forgiveness for any shortcomings. Repentance is a means of purification and seeking Allah’s mercy.
  4. Recite Quranic Verses: Regularly recite verses from the Quran, especially those related to parenthood and blessings.
  5. Charitable Acts: Engage in acts of charity and kindness. Giving in charity is believed to bring blessings and increase in sustenance.
  6. Maintain Family Ties: Strengthen family bonds and maintain good relations with relatives. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of family ties.
  7. Patience and Gratitude: Practice patience and gratitude in all circumstances. Accepting Allah’s decree with patience is a virtuous act.

Remember that the gender of a child is determined by Allah’s will, and it is beyond human control. It is essential to approach supplications with sincerity and an understanding that Allah’s plans are perfect. Additionally, consulting with medical professionals for any fertility concerns can be part of a comprehensive approach to family planning.
