Special dua

Here’s a special dua you can recite for righteous offspring (not just for a son, but for children who are a blessing in both this world and the Hereafter):

Transliteration:

Allahumma rabbanaa hab lanaa min azwaajinaa wa dhurriyaatina qurrata a’yunin waj’alnaa lilmuttaqeena imaamaa

Translation:

“Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.”
(Surah Al-Furqan, 25:74)

Benefits of Dua

Dear friends! This is a very important supplication; this is the prayer of Allah’s prophet Hazrat Zakaria (A.S.). He was already at an old age and yet was without children. On top of it, he was very eager to have children.

This story relates to one very interesting incident between Hazrat Zakaria (A.S.) and Hazrat Maryam (A.S.). One day, Hazrat Zakaria (A.S.) found fruits and vegetables with Hazrat Maryam (A.S.) that were out of their season. This strange sight surprised Hazrat Zakaria. He asked Hazrat Maryam, “Maryam, where are these fruits coming from, whereas these fruits have just passed their season these days?” On this, Hazrat Maryam replied, “All this is from Allah. Whatever my heart desires, I pray for from Allah, and He grants it to me. The fruits of Allah are not bounded by seasons; He has the power to do everything, whatever He wants and to whomever He wills.”

Wazifa for a Baby Boy During Pregnancy

This is a mighty wazifa to be performed for the birth of a baby boy; one has to maintain all five daily prayers on a routine basis. This following wazifa can be performed either by the husband or by the wife, but in doing so, the following steps should be followed:

Keep yourself on wudu or take a bath before starting this wazifa.

Sit alone in some quiet place and first recite Darood Shareef 11 times.

Then repeat the Ism e Azam “Ya Jabbaru” 70 times.

Then read “Surah Kausar” 100 times.

At the end of this wazifa, again read Darood Shareef 11 times.

Make a supplication to Allah with this dua to get a baby boy.
“Rabbi Habb Li MiLLaDunka Zurriyyatann Tayyibatann Innaka Samii-uddu-aaaii”

It is recommended that you do this wazifa on a regular basis for 30 days.

How to Perform this Wazifa

The notion of a “guaranteed wazifa” for a certain happening, such as having a baby boy, fits nowhere in the circle of Islam. Islam leads to supplication, dua, and seeking guidance from Allah; however, the outcomes are left to the wisdom of Allah. It is befitting that the supplications be made in a humble manner, knowing full well that Allah’s plans are always for the best interests of His creation.

If someone intends to have a baby or seeks a blessing from Allah, here is the general course of action that may be pursued in light of Islamic teachings:

Perform Regular Prayers (Salah): Continue with regular prayers and seek Allah’s guidance for everything in life.

Dua for Righteous Offspring: Pray instead for the piety of a child and not the gender. Prophet Zakariya – may peace be upon him – prayed for a son who would be a righteous heir (Quran 21:89).

Seek Repentance: Enter into repentance to seek forgiveness for your shortcomings. Repentance is a way of cleansing and seeking mercy from Allah.

Recite the Quranic verses: Recall the verses of the Quran, particularly those dealing with parenthood and blessings.

Acts of Charity: Give to charity as much as you can. Giving in charity is believed to bring in more blessings and sustenance.

Strengthen Family Ties: Keep ties with your relations and family close. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Anyone who desires to have his provision expanded and his term of life prolonged, he should maintain ties of relationship.”

Patience and Gratitude: A Muslim must be patient and grateful under all circumstances. Patience obeys the decree of Allah with righteousness, which is nothing but a virtuous deed.

Remember, the gender of a child is a will of Allah and beyond human control. One has to be sincere with the supplications, and at the same time, one has to believe that whatever Allah plans is perfect. Similarly, one can consult the medical professionals for advice in case of fertility-related concerns as part of an integrated family planning approach.
