Translation:
In the name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful.
♥ Hadith: Hazrat Abu Said Khudri – may Allah be pleased with him – narrated that the Messenger of Allah – peace be upon him – used to recite the following dua while wearing new clothes:
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ كَسَوْتَنِيهِ أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهِ وَخَيْرِ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرِّ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ “Allahumma Lakal-Hamdu Anta Kasawtaneeh, Asaluka Min Khayrihi Wa Khayri Maa Suneeaa Lahu, Wa Awuzubika Min Sharrihi Wa Sharri Ma Suneea Lahu.”
O Allah, all praise is for You; You have clothed me. I ask You for the goodness of it and the goodness for which it has been made, and I seek Your protection from its evil and the evil for which it has been made.
Explanation:
This dua is a wonderful supplication showing appreciation to Allah for the blessing of new clothes. He who says this du’a acknowledges that the apparent cause of his being clothed is Allah, and he prays for His blessings regarding the goodness of the clothes and goodness in that for which they were made. He also seeks Allah’s protection from the evil of what he is wearing or any harm it may bring upon him. It reflects the teachings of Islam to be thankful for Allah’s blessings and to seek His protection in every deed of life.

✅ 1. अबू सईद खुदरी र.अ.
फिर फरमाते: – “اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ كَسَوْتَنِيهِ أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهِ وَخَيْرِ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرِّ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ”
“ए अल्लाह सब तारीफें तेरे लिए ही हैं।
तूने मुझे पहनाया है, तुझसे इसकी भलाई और जिसके लिए ये कपड़ा बनाया गया है उसकी भलाई का सवाल करता हूँ।
और इस की बुराई और जिसके लिए ये कपड़ा बनाया गया है उसकी बुराई से तेरी पनाह चाँहता हूँ।”
अबू नज़रह कहते हैं कि जब नबी सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम के असहाब में से जब कोई नया कपड़ा पहनता था, तो उससे कहा जाता कि तू इसे पुराना करे और अल्लाह तुझे इसके बदले दूसरा कपड़ा अता करे। (अबू दाऊद, हदीस संख्याः4020) 2. मुआद इब्न अनस से रिवायत है कि: अल्लाह के रसूल (सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम) ने इरशाद फ़रमाया कि
“जो शख्स खाना खाने के बाद यह कहता है कि तमाम तारीफें अल्लाह ही की जिसने मुझे, मेरी ताकत और कुब्बत के बिना यह खाना दिया।
तो अल्लाह उस शख्स के अगले और पिछले गुनाह माफ़ कर देता है।
और जो कोई कपड़े पहनता है और कहता है कि तमाम तारीफें अल्लाह की, जिसने मुझे पहनाया और मेरी ताकत और कुब्बत के बिना मुझे यह अता किया,
कि अल्लाह उसके अगले और पिछले तमाम गुनाह माफ़ कर देगा।” (अबू दाऊद, हदीस संख्याः4023)

तो जैसा की इस्लाम में खाना खाने, पीने और दुसरे कामों को करते वक़्त की दुआएँ मौजूद हैं, ठीक उसी तरह Kapda Pehenne Ki Dua भी मौजूद है। जो हमने इस पोस्ट में पढ़ी।
