The verses 2 to 5 of Surah Al-Kahf (18:2-5) in the Quran are as follows:

Here is the translation:

“Who has dominion over all things, and to Him you will be returned.
They have taken besides Him gods which do not create anything while they are created, and they control not for themselves any harm or benefit, and they control not death nor life nor resurrection.
But those who disbelieve say, ‘This [Quran] is not but a falsehood he invented, and another people assisted him in it.’ But they have committed an injustice and a lie.”

The verses 6 to 8 of Surah Al-Kahf (18:6-8) in the Quran are as follows:

Here is the translation:

“And they say, ‘Legends of the former peoples which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon.’
Say, [O Muhammad], ‘It has been revealed by He who knows [every] secret within the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He is ever Forgiving and Merciful.’

And they say, ‘What is this messenger that eats food and walks in the markets? Why was there not sent down to him an angel so he would be with him a warner?'”

Verses 9 to 12 of Surah Al-Kahf (18:9-12) in the Quran read as follows:

Here’s the translation:

“Do you think that the companions of the cave and the inscription were, among Our signs, a wonder?
[Mention] when the youths retreated to the cave and said, ‘Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance.’
So We cast [a cover of sleep] over their ears within the cave for a number of years.
Then We awakened them that We might show which of the two factions was most precise in calculating what [extent] they had remained in time.”

Translation:
“And thus We awakened them that they might question one another. Said a speaker from among them, ‘How long have you remained [here]?’ They said, ‘We have remained a day or part of a day.’ They said, ‘Your Lord is most knowing of how long you remained. So send one of you with this silver coin of yours to the city and let him look to which is the best of food and bring you provision from it and let him be cautious. And let no one be aware of you.'”

Translation:
“Or you have a house of ornament [i.e., gold], or you ascend into the sky. And [even then], we will not believe in your ascension until you bring down to us a book [i.e., scripture] we may read.” Say, “Exalted is my Lord! Was I ever but a human messenger?”

“And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord but turns away from them and forgets what his hands have put forth? Indeed, We have placed over their hearts coverings, lest they understand it, and in their ears deafness. And if you invite them to guidance – they will never be guided, then – ever.”

“And, [O Muhammad], inform them of the story of Adam’s two sons, in truth, when they both offered a sacrifice [to Allah], and it was accepted from one of them but was not accepted from the other. Said [the latter], ‘I will surely kill you.’ Said [the former], ‘Indeed, Allah only accepts from the righteous [who fear Him].'”

Translation:
“Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And Allah is not unaware of what you do.”

Translation:

“But do they not know that Allah knows what they conceal and what they declare?”

So whoever follows me – then he is of me; and whoever disobeys me – indeed, You are [yet] Forgiving and Merciful. So make hearts among the people incline toward them and provide for them from the fruits that they might be grateful.'”

“O you who have believed, when you go forth [to fight] in the cause of Allah, investigate; and do not say to one who gives you [a greeting of] peace, “You are not a believer,” aspiring for the goods of worldly life; for with Allah are many acquisitions. You [yourselves] were like that before; then Allah conferred His favor upon you, so investigate. Indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.”

But Allah has preferred the mujahideen over those who remain [behind] with a great reward -“

Translation:
“They followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut.
