“Roza Rakhne Ki Dua” holds a high status in Islam; it is because it lies within the greater circle of spiritual course of action. It can either be carried out for the time of the Holy Month of Ramadan or individually as an act of will in everyday Salah. That prayer is a very significant Sehri Dua to enlighten people for the deepening of the bond between Allah and His servant. This is, therefore, a devotional prayer that summarizes the past transgressions, seeking forgiveness and the invocation of mercy by Allah prior to a day of spiritual rejuvenation and discipline in fasting.
This mighty prayer starts becoming a source through which believers could achieve inner peace, and that is what would keep them permanently devoted to their Creator. Fasting in the month of Ramadan, being one of the five pillars, isn’t about keeping oneself without food and water. Roza Rakhne Ki Dua recognizes Allah SubhanaWat’ala with gratitude, thanks to His acceptance to strengthen one to fast in this pious month that cultivates humbleness and a profound feeling of gratitude.
It carries a different sense of serenity and eagerness each morning in the month of Ramadan when this dua is made. So, taking the time to make these supplications develops character during Ramadan and beyond the holy month.
The Dua for keeping the fast at the time of Sehri (pre-dawn meal) is as under:
In Arabic :
وَبِصَوْمِ غَدٍ نَّوَيْتُ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ
Wa bisawmi ghadinn nawaiytu min shahri Ramadan.
“I intend to keep the fast tomorrow in the month of Ramadan.”
In English:
“I intend to keep the fast for the month of Ramadan.”
The intention of Sehri fasting needs to be sincerely recited before one embarks on the fast, right before the intention to abstain from food and drink throughout the day has to be made. This declaration of intent uttered audibly falls into what is called “Niyat”; it reflects the conscious decision to fast in the day.
This Roza Rakhne Ki Dua, prayed in seeking mercy and blessings from Allah, is made throughout the whole month of Ramadan with belief that such a genuine and faith-based supplication shall be given special favors and bounties by God. Here it is in the English translation.
Roza Rakhne Ki Dua In English Urdu Arabic
Roza Rakhne Ki Dua plays an important part in Islamic rules by putting weight that whoever fasts with piety is promised a reward both in this world and the hereafter. It is said before one starts a fast and when the time to break the fast approaches, adding to the sincerity of the individual on fast and reminding the individual for what purpose one is keeping the fast.
The dua, which is recited in both Arabic and in English, is simple and includes lines that seek pardon, strength, and guidance. It is usually recited three times a day-at the start of the fast, when in the middle, and when breaking it. Memorizing the dua makes sure its meaning sinks well.
This prayer is important for those fasting, as well as for every Muslim. A prayer of this sort nurtures spiritual growth: it instills hope and directs the one who recites this prayer with belief. This Roza Rakhne Ki Dua is believed to fortify the individual so that he may concentrate on the purpose of fasting and achieve greater rewards. By emphasizing spiritual earnings and begging for guidance from Allah, the goal of the individual is to be closer to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala and attain His blessings.
Whatever the reason, be it religious or for health improvement, Roza Rakhne Ki Dua sets the right path. But again, one will say that to attain sincerity and genuine heart in the desire to have the mercy of Allah Ta’ala is essential during recitation.
