Hazrat Ayesha RA said during the journey of Hajj, while they wore Ahram if a caravan approached them then they would veil the face, when the caravan would go away then they would face the front uncovering it.
One such renowned case is where an accusation was laid on Sayyida Ayesha RA; Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala has revealed the Surah Noor for her exoneration. This is a direct case, showing the importance of maintenance of etiquette and what happens when one accuses somebody of something without grounds. These events are related in Sahi Bukhari, Sahi Muslim, and other books of authentic hadith.
Another narration refers to the case of a woman who was called Umm Khallad, whose son was lost in a battle and she was accused of immoral conduct. Allah revealed the verse: “Indeed, those who concocted the defamation are a group among you. Do not think that it is evil for you; on the contrary, it is good for you.” (Surah An-Nur 24:11). A case of false accusation then requires an evidence proper for the committing of that crime, a situation viewed seriously in Islam.
