وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هَلۡ تُحِسُّ مِنۡهُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ أَوۡ تَسۡمَعُ لَهُمۡ رِكۡزَۢا

This is verse 36 from Surah Maryam (سورة مريم), which translates to:

“And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound?”

The verse forms a part of a passage wherein Allah reminds Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, of the numerous nations destroyed in times past on account of their rejecting the prophets and their message. It is a warning and a reminder of what disbelief and disobedience entail.

وَكَأۡسࣰا دِهَاقࣰا

This is verse 17 from Surah Al-Muddathir (سورة المدثر), meaning:

And a goblet [of wine] from a flowing spring

This verse is a part of the passage where Allah describes the benefits and rewards awaiting the righteous believers in Paradise. So, it was symbolic of the abundance and purity of the drinks provided to the dwellers of Paradise, and indicated that those who labored toward the obedience of Allah to lead a righteous life will be handsomely rewarded in bliss.

Yes, it’s from Surah Yunus, verse 59:

قل أرأيتم ما أنزل الله لكم من رزق فجعلتم منه حراما وحلالا قل آلله أذن لكم أم على الله تفترون

In Arabic, it means:

“Say, ‘Have you seen what Allah has sent down to you of provision of which you have made [some] lawful and [some] unlawful?’ Say, ‘Has Allah permitted you [to do so], or do you invent [something] about

This verse scolds the people that they declare something as if it is halaal and haram and there is no such verdict given by Allah. It questions such people and stresses the listeners to follow the laws and guidance laid by Allah, rather than inventing laws by their wishes and desires.

This is the verse 189 of Surah Al Imran, سورة آل عمران :

Indeed, to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is within them, and He, over all things, is competent.

This verse affirms the sovereignty and might of Allah over all creation. It attests that within both heaven and earth, whatever exists belongs to Him, and He is always and in control of everything. This reminds that Allah is powerful, the one who is Capable of doing what he wills.

This is from chapter (Surah) Al Bayyinah verse 6:

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنًمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ أُولَـٰئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ الْبَرِيَّةِ

This verse translates to:

“Indeed, those who disbelieve from the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures.”

This verse warns of the punishment of the People of the Book (the Jews and the Christians) who disbelieve, and of the polytheists. It will be the Hellfire for them to dwell in. Additionally, special emphasis is drawn to disbelief and position, since they are the worst of creatures in terms of morality and spiritual development.

فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحًا

This verse is translated as follows:

“When the stars are obliterated,”

In this surah, the Day of Judgment is described and the sky is described as torn apart and stars obliterated. So, “فَالْمُورِيَـٰتِ قَدۡحࣰا” shows that the stars will be scattered or extinguished like moths scattered about. Vivid description, in short, of the cosmic events of that Day as envisioned by the faith.

This verse is from Surah Al-Ankabut (سورة العنكبوت), verse 34:

وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ بَطِرَتْ مَعِيشَتَهَا ۖ فَتِلْكَ مَسَاكِنُهُمْ لَمْ تُسْكَن مِّن بَعْدِهِمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا ۖ وَكُنَّا نَحْنُ الْوَارِثِينَ

This verse translates to:

“And how many a city have We destroyed that was insolent in its [way of] living, and those are their dwellings which have not been inhabited after them except briefly. And it is We who were the inheritors.”

This verse talks about how many cities or communities collapsed by the will of Allah due to their arrogance and wrongdoings. Their living places were left unoccupied after their collapse, which did not last for very long. Emphasizing the fact that indeed Allah is the inheritor of all things and the owner in control.

The phrase is taken from Surah Al-Falaq (سورة الفلق) verse 3:

وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ

This verse is translated as:

“And from the evil of darkness when it settles,”

And this verse is part of the overall supplication for attaining refuge with Allah from every kind of evil. To be more detailed, includes the evil of the envious when he envies. It is for reminiscence how people could have the feeling of vulnerability in the dead of the night and, therefore, should be on the lookout to seek protection from Allah against harm or evil that lies along the darkness. This verse is from the Surah Al-Muddathir, verse 15 :

Indeed, We have sent to you a Messenger as a witness upon you just as We sent to Pharaoh a messenger

In this verse, Allah says that He has sent a message to people through a Messenger so that the Messenger can be a witness to their works and analyze the behaviors of the people. It is, thus, compared to the messenger sent to Pharaoh and hence brings up the seriousness and importance of the message being carried. It emphasizes the keynote of the responsibility of the people to draw near to the message and take guidance therefrom.

This verse is from Surah Al-An’am (سورة الأنعام), verse 132:

There shall be for all degrees [[ mimmā ]] of what they have done; and [[ wa ]] thy Lord is not heedless of what they do.

This is a verse emphasizing the concept of accountability and divine justice. It states that all will be given rewards or punished in accordance with their actions, and Allah has taken full and precise accounts of all the actions of the people. It lays down principles: recompense in the Hereafter and, based on individual acts, recompense will be determined.

This verse is from Surah Ya-Sin, verse 9:

And We made an appointment with Musa for thirty nights, and completed them with ten see Me, but look at the mountain, if

In other words, explaining how Allah has indeed put a barrier in front and behind people so that they see not, understand not, or perceive the truth. This spiritual blindness or ignorance manifests where one fails to discern what the signs of Allah and His guidance are. In other words, this verse strongly reminds one to seek knowledge and guidance from Allah so that one is able to remove some of the barriers bundling him spiritually and sees through and understands.

This verse is from Surah Fussilat (سورة فصلت), verse 20:

حَتَّىٰ إِذَا مَا جَاۤءُوهَا شَهِدَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ سَمۡعُهُمۡ وَأَبۡصَـٰرُهُمۡ وَجُلُودُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ

This surah translates to:

“Until, when they reach it, their hearing and their eyes and their skins will testify against them of what they used to do.”

Consider the verse about the scene of the Day of Judgment in which the human body is set as a witness against mankind for their deeds. There, one can find the totality and fairness represented by this account by Allah: no act, however concealed, is outside this judgment. After all, the verse reminds one of how vigilant and pious one’s actions should be since you are to be taken to the task later in the Hereafter.

And We have enjoined upon the human being [care] for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination.

Translation: “And We have enjoined upon man to his parents good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning [period] is thirty months. [He grows]

“And We had certainly taken a covenant from the Children of Israel, and We had sent to them messengers. Whenever there came to them a messenger with what their souls did not desire, a party [of messengers] they denied, and another party they killed.

So this is Surah Al-Fath from the Quran, verse number 6. The translation is:

“He forgave even the hypocrites—both men and women—and the polytheists—both men and women—who harbor evil thoughts about Allah. What&;apos;s evil indeed is their thinking! With them has Allah become angry, and onto them has He cursed and prepared Gehenna for them—it is an evil destination!”

یَوۡمَ یَبۡعَثُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ جَمِیعࣰا فَیَحۡلِفُونَ لَهُۥ كَمَا یَحۡلِفُونَ لَكُمۡ وَیَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمۡ عَلَىٰ شَیۡءٍۚ أَلَاۤ إِنَّهُمۡ هُمُ ٱلۡكَـٰذِبُونَ

This verse is from Surah Al-Mujadila in the Quran, verse 18. The translation is:

“The Day Allah will resurrect them all, they will swear to Him as they swear to you and think that they are [standing] on something. Unquestionably, it is they who are the liars.”

إِنَّكَ إِن تَذَرهُمْ يُضِلُّوا عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوا إِلَّا فَاجِرا كَفَّارا

Indeed, if You should leave them, they would mislead Your servants and not give birth [to any] except wicked disbelievers.

سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَى

“So they set forth, until, when they came in sight of the people of a town, they asked to be entertained with food, but the people of that place denied them hospitality. And they found in the town a wall on the point of falling down, and he set it upright.” [Moses] said, “If you wished, you could have taken for it a payment.

They said, “Let us journey on and find a shelter in a nearby city where we can obtain some food and drink.” Thereupon he said: “Behold, thou hast found that which we sought. Thereupon his companions asked him for a license, but he denied any license to that effect. [So they went toward the city] until, now approaching it, they asked its people for food, but those would not receive them. There they found a wall about to fall, and Khidr raised it up. [Moses] said, “If you wished, you could have taken for it a payment.”

That was Our argument which We bestowed upon Abraham against his people. We raise by degrees whom We will. Surely thy Lord is Wise, Knowing.

This is a verse from the Quran, Surah An-Nur, Chapter 23. The meaning is:

“Verily, those who calumniate chaste, unwary believing women are cursed in this world, and the Hereafter, for them, there will be a mighty chastisement.”

This verse is another from the Quran, Surah Ad-Duha, Chapter 5. The meaning is:

“And your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied.

This verse is from Surah At-Tin in the Quran, verse 8. The English translation is:

“Is not Allah the most just of judges?”

This verse is from Surah An-Naba in the Quran, verse 40. This is how it has been translated:

” Indeed. Paradise has been made the place of stay for them.

This is from the Quran, Surah 16:26. The translation is: “These plots were devised by the people before them. However, it is Allah who tears down the foundations of such evil plans, even though their buildings seem strong, so the roof above their heads collapses with the punishment. The torment befalls them whence they least expect.”

ٱللَّهُ لَطِیفُۢ بِعِبَادِهِۦ یَرۡزُقُ مَن یَشَ

This is a verse from Surah Ash-Shura in the Quran. Verse 19 of the Surah goes as follows:

“Allah is gratuitous to His slaves; He provides sustenance as He wills. And He is the All Powerful, the Almighty.”

وَإِذَا قِیلَ لَهُمُ ٱسۡجُدُوا

And when it is said to them, ‘Prostrate to the Most Merciful,’ they say, ‘And what is the Most Merciful? Should we prostrate to that which you order us?’ And it increases them in aversion.”

Know that Allah brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. We have made clear to you the signs; perhaps you will understand.

Know that Allah revives the earth after its death. Indeed, We have made clear the signs for you, so that you may understand.”

وَصَـٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَبَنِیهِ

The above is a line from Surah At-Tur in the Quran, verse 49. The meaning is:

“And his [i.e., the believer’s] wife and his children.”

لَّا یُسۡمِنُ وَلَا یُغۡنِی مِن ج

“He believes not in the rewards and prevents from feeding the poor;” is written in the Quran in this phrase of Surah Al-Ma’arij, verse 24, and translated in English: “[They will be] taking what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good.

This is the translation of the first verse of Surah Al-Fath from Quran. It goes:

“In the name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Verily, We have granted you a manifest victory.”

لِّأَصۡحَـٰبِ ٱلۡیَمِینِ

This is from Surah Al-Waqi’ah, which means “for the companions of the right.”, verse 27.

[Hud] said, ‘O my people, have you considered: if I stand upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has provided me with a good provision from Him…? And I do not intend to differ from you in that which I have forbidden you. I only intend reform to the best of my capacity

“[He] said, ‘O my people, have you considered: if I should be upon clear evidence from my Lord while He has given me mercy from Himself but it has been made unapparent to you, should we force it upon you while you are averse to it?’

“They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit, safe and secure.”

كَلَّا بَلۡ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡعَاجِلَةَ

The above verse is taken from surah A-Qiyamah, ayah 20 of the Qur’an and translated is

“Nay, you love the immediate.”

وَأَنَّهُمۡ ظَنُّوا۟ كَمَا ظَنَنتُمۡ أَن لَّن یَب

والارض و مان طهاها

Quran, Surah At-Tariq, Ayah 12

Transliteration:
Wa the earth and Him who spread it,

اللہ نے Employed por orden de su Señor; and Allah introduced ilustraciones para la humanidad, peut-être ceCS que réfléchissent,

Quran, Surah Al-Hajj, Ayah 63

Transliteration:
Yuti-i uk

“Every [creature] comes with its sustenance. And He will soon show them His signs. Then it is Allah who will be pleased to remember.”

فِیهَا كُتُب٣ قَیِّمَـٰت

لأية رقم ١٣ من سورة الانشقاق في القرآن.

“For he possessed knowledge of it, for We had taught him the art of making the garment without having to write a book about it for him.”

لَقَدِ كَانَ فِيـٔ أُمَّتِهِۦٓ أَ تِىَـٰ بِٱلسِّیدِنِ

These are productive words of Surah S, verse 37 Quran. To make the scope broader, a translation would be :

“Assuredly there was a lesson for you in your cattle: We give you to drink of what is in their

This Ayah is from Surah An-Nur Ayah 21 of the Quran. The translation is:

“O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan – indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing. And were it not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, not one of you would have been pure, ever, but Allah purifies whom He wills, and Allah is Hearing and Knowing.”
